Quick answer

Before launching a Telegram advertising campaign, compare Telegram’s official Ad Platform, Telegram-first networks such as Adsun, Adsgram, Adexium and TAds, and multi-channel networks with Telegram traffic such as Monetag, RichAds and Adsterra. Compare them on placements, targeting, pricing model and minimums, traffic-quality controls and reporting, then test two of them with equal budgets.

Key takeaways

  • Shortlist 2–3 networks that match your placement (channel, bot, Mini App).
  • Fill one comparison table with current documented terms.
  • Test with equal budgets, countries and dates.
  • Judge by cost per sign-up or purchase.

The shortlist

  • Telegram Ad Platform — Telegram’s official product for sponsored messages in large public channels and, where available, bots and search. Best for brands buying reach inside Telegram itself.
  • Telegram-first ad networks — e.g. Adsun, Adsgram, Adexium, TAds and similar: SDK-based formats for Mini Apps and bots, often with rewarded and task ads.
  • Multi-channel networks with Telegram support — e.g. Monetag, RichAds, Adsterra: broad formats (push, popunder, in-page, smartlinks) where Telegram is one of many traffic sources.
  • Channel marketplaces and direct deals — sponsored posts negotiated per channel, directly or via a marketplace.

Comparison table columns

  • Placements available.
  • Targeting (country, language, others).
  • Pricing model and current minimums.
  • Creative formats and review process.
  • Traffic-quality and fraud controls.
  • Reporting depth and placement transparency.
  • Payment methods and refund policy.

  • Budget control: prepaid balance, daily budget and campaign pause at any time.
  • Measurement: impressions, clicks, CTR, spend, CPM and CPC per campaign in the monitoring view.
  • Status: Adsun is an independent network, not Telegram’s official advertising platform.

Worked example

Hypothetical example — not real Adsun data

An advertiser spends $100 and receives 80,000 impressions and 960 clicks. CPM = 100 ÷ 80,000 × 1,000 = $1.25. CPC = 100 ÷ 960 ≈ $0.104. CTR = 960 ÷ 80,000 = 1.2%. If 96 clicks become sign-ups, cost per sign-up = 100 ÷ 96 ≈ $1.04. Compare networks on cost per sign-up, not CPM alone.

Adsun measurement methodology

Adsun counts an impression when an ad is rendered in a publisher block, a click when the user opens the ad destination, and a reward only after the server-to-server Reward URL confirms completion. Debug-mode traffic is excluded from billing and reports. Metrics are shown per platform, block and country in the partner and advertiser dashboards. Adsun does not publish aggregate network benchmarks in this guide; any number below marked “Hypothetical” is illustrative only. See the SDK documentation for integration details.
