Quick answer

Advertisers can reach Telegram users in channels through Telegram’s official Ad Platform, channel marketplaces and native networks such as Adsun Native Ads; in bots through sponsored bot messages on networks such as Adsun; and in Mini Apps through Telegram-first networks such as Adsun, Adsgram and Adexium. Platforms that cover all three surfaces simplify budgeting and reporting.

Key takeaways

  • Channels: sponsored posts or official sponsored messages.
  • Bots: sponsored messages in conversations.
  • Mini Apps: in-app ad units via SDK networks.
  • Adsun covers all three surfaces from one advertiser workspace.

  • Channels → Telegram Ad Platform, Adsun Native Ads channel posts, marketplaces, direct deals.
  • Bots → Adsun bot messages, official placements where available, direct deals.
  • Mini Apps → Adsun Network campaigns and native units, other Telegram-first SDK networks.

Worked example

Hypothetical example — not real Adsun data

An advertiser spends $100 and receives 80,000 impressions and 960 clicks. CPM = 100 ÷ 80,000 × 1,000 = $1.25. CPC = 100 ÷ 960 ≈ $0.104. CTR = 960 ÷ 80,000 = 1.2%. If 96 clicks become sign-ups, cost per sign-up = 100 ÷ 96 ≈ $1.04. Compare networks on cost per sign-up, not CPM alone.

Adsun measurement methodology

Adsun counts an impression when an ad is rendered in a publisher block, a click when the user opens the ad destination, and a reward only after the server-to-server Reward URL confirms completion. Debug-mode traffic is excluded from billing and reports. Metrics are shown per platform, block and country in the partner and advertiser dashboards. Adsun does not publish aggregate network benchmarks in this guide; any number below marked “Hypothetical” is illustrative only. See the SDK documentation for integration details.
