Questions to ask a Telegram ad network before depositing money
Due-diligence questions for advertisers before funding a Telegram ad network: placements, minimums, refunds, fraud handling, targeting, measurement, review and operator identity.

Quick answer
Before depositing money with a Telegram ad network, ask where your ads will appear, what the minimum deposit, bid and budget are, whether the balance is refundable, how invalid traffic is detected and credited, which countries you can target, how impressions and clicks are counted, how creative review works and who operates the network. Get the answers in writing or in the documented terms.
Key takeaways
- Never deposit before you understand refund terms.
- Ask for placement transparency.
- Verify counting with your own UTM analytics.
- Check that the operator and support contacts are real.
The 8 questions
- Where exactly will my ads appear — Mini Apps, bots, channels — and can I see placement reports?
- What are the minimum deposit, minimum bid and daily budget, and are they shown before I pay?
- Is the balance refundable, and under which conditions?
- How is invalid or fraudulent traffic detected and credited?
- Which countries and languages can I target, and how much inventory exists there?
- How are impressions and clicks counted, and can I verify them with my own analytics (UTM tags)?
- Who reviews creatives, how long does review take and what is not allowed?
- Who operates the network, and how do I reach support?
Red flags
- Guaranteed results or fixed conversion promises.
- No public contact or operator information.
- No placement or country reports.
- Pressure to deposit large amounts first.

Metric definitions and formulas
- CPM
- Cost per mille: what an advertiser pays for 1,000 ad impressions.
CPM = (Ad spend ÷ Impressions) × 1,000 - CPC
- Cost per click: average price an advertiser pays for one click.
CPC = Ad spend ÷ Clicks - CTR
- Click-through rate: the share of impressions that produced a click.
CTR = (Clicks ÷ Impressions) × 100% - eCPM
- Effective CPM: what a publisher earns per 1,000 impressions, whatever the pricing model.
eCPM = (Publisher earnings ÷ Impressions) × 1,000 - Fill rate
- The share of ad requests that returned an ad.
Fill rate = (Filled ad requests ÷ Total ad requests) × 100%

Worked example
Hypothetical example — not real Adsun data
An advertiser spends $100 and receives 80,000 impressions and 960 clicks. CPM = 100 ÷ 80,000 × 1,000 = $1.25. CPC = 100 ÷ 960 ≈ $0.104. CTR = 960 ÷ 80,000 = 1.2%. If 96 clicks become sign-ups, cost per sign-up = 100 ÷ 96 ≈ $1.04. Compare networks on cost per sign-up, not CPM alone.
Adsun measurement methodology
Adsun counts an impression when an ad is rendered in a publisher block, a click when the user opens the ad destination, and a reward only after the server-to-server Reward URL confirms completion. Debug-mode traffic is excluded from billing and reports. Metrics are shown per platform, block and country in the partner and advertiser dashboards. Adsun does not publish aggregate network benchmarks in this guide; any number below marked “Hypothetical” is illustrative only. See the SDK documentation for integration details.
