Start with audience fit

Choose countries and languages that your destination genuinely supports. If onboarding or support is available only in one language, a broad audience may produce clicks that never become useful users.

Review device options and test the destination on those devices. A country selection is not a promise that every user in that country can be reached.

Use the controls of the selected format

Network settings include countries, languages, device settings and placement inclusion or exclusion. Native Ads settings include language, category, country and channel selection. Availability and delivery remain subject to the selected campaign and eligible inventory.

Do not advertise inferred personal traits, universal interest targeting or unlimited reach when those capabilities have not been verified. Use the form’s actual controls and current terms.

Compare creatives with a consistent measurement window

• Keep the destination and intended action clear in each creative.
• Compare spend, impressions and clicks using the same reporting period.
• Avoid changing targeting, message and destination simultaneously when diagnosing a weak result.
• Check downstream outcomes in your own analytics before deciding that a higher CTR is an improvement.

When delivery is low, check eligibility first

Review campaign status, account balance, budget and available inventory before interpreting low delivery as a targeting failure. Very narrow settings can reduce eligible traffic, but widening them is not automatically the correct business decision.

Campaign strategy options and eligibility requirements should be read in the current form. Selecting an optimization label is not a guarantee of conversions or a particular acquisition cost.
